Seeking fundmental answers, Herschel, Planck nearing Launch

A pair of scientifically ambitious space observatories, Herschel and Planck, are being fitted for a May 14 launch aboard an Ariane 5. The following video explains their missions to study the universe at far-infrared and microwave wavelengths in an effort to understand its structure and formation.
